S.J. Janis built an 18×31’ addition on this river hills home to allow for a workout room/sunroom for the wife and new office space for the husband.

The husband wanted the office space to allow him to meet with clients and also have his own private getaway for entertaining.

The basement was not an enjoyable space for the homeowner to workout. The low ceilings and lack of windows pushed the homeowner to create a new bright space with a taller ceiling that could be converted into an in-law suite in the future. The living room was updated with a wet bar new, while the family room was remodeled with an updated fireplace, new shelving to replace the old soffit, and wood flooring allowing a cohesive floor plan.
